ArtSpace 2023 Is Here

2023-08-07
by Wintringham Communications

Coinciding with Homelessness Week (7 – 13 August 2023), Wintringham’s annual ArtSpace online art exhibition is officially open and available to view now!

This exhibition features artworks from Wintringham's talented residents and clients, many who have experienced or have been vulnerable to homelessness. Each year our clients work hard to paint, draw, sculpt, craft and write. Their favourite pieces are submitted into the art show with the support of various Wintringham teams.

Artworks have been reviewed by our wonderful panel of judges, Lyndy and Lucinda White (from the Peter and Lyndy White Foundation), Artist and Wintringham Volunteer Dot Lipmann AM and Wintringham Board Member Jane Boag. A total of 16 artworks have been selected to appear in the 2024 Wintringham calendar and on this year’s festive Christmas cards.

See the selected 16 artworks, by watching the Official Opening video here!

The public are invited to purchase their favourite pieces – but be quick, as these are all one-off pieces that tend to sell fast! All you need to do is go to the website art.wintringham.org.au, have a look at the artworks, select your favourite on the website and follow the steps for purchasing. A current credit card will be required for purchase.

In addition, back by popular demand, our People’s Choice Award returns this year – proudly sponsored by Melbourne Artist’s Supplies.

We ask all visitors to our website to take a look and vote for their favourite artworks, as two artists and one voter will be in the running to win:

  • 1x $200 Melbourne Artists’ Supplies voucher for the People’s Choice winner (artist)
  • 1x $150 Melbourne Artists’ Supplies voucher for the runner-up (artist)
  • 1x $150 Melbourne Artists’ Supplies voucher for a random voter

Voting for the People’s Choice Awards will only be open for one week, from 7–13 August, also during Homelessness Week. So don't forget to vote!

Celebrating our creative and talented clients, and our teams who support them!
