Wintringham’s very special milestone

by Wintringham Communications

This month, Wintringham will hit a special milestone. As at 30 April 2023, 100 members of our staff will have worked with Wintringham for 15 years or more, with this number expected to increase to 112 by December.

That’s over 10 per cent of our staff with 15 years or more service to our organisation.

“I couldn’t be prouder of our team,” CEO and Founder Bryan Lipmann AM said. “The loyalty and dedication shown to our organisation over the past 34 years is truly remarkable! I am grateful but also incredibly humbled that our staff have chosen to be part of our Wintringham journey for such a long time.”

When our recently retired Board Member Jeff Gole celebrated his 20 years of service, he shared his thoughts on Wintringham’s success. “Due to an unwavering vision, innovative changes, the support of a dedicated and passionate team, and of course family, Wintringham has achieved so much.” See Jeff’s full story here.

“Bryan has also always managed to attract and keep really good staff.” Jeff said. “It’s special to see some people who have come in with little experience and been nurtured to work their way up to managing a Wintringham site on their own.”

We spoke with Kelly Jackson, Regional Manager Community Services - Southern, who is approaching 30 years of service this May. “To be honest, it’s hard to believe it’s been that long,” Kelly said. “Wintringham inspires me; drives my passion to make a difference and provides me with the support and confidence to do just that. The culture and people I work with are a big part of why I have worked with Wintringham for so long, and I hope that in some way along the years, I’ve supported and inspired other staff to feel the same way.”

Bryan said, “All of our staff are very genuine people who are driven by our social justice values, and as a result their focus is always on advocating and achieving the best outcomes from every client. Their passion is easy to recognise, and it gives me a huge sense of pride when I see how our staff have developed their careers and expanded their skillsets within our organisation.”

Congratulations to everyone who has helped Wintringham achieve this special milestone. For those relative ‘newbies’ – as Bryan likes to say, ‘Welcome to the last organisation you’ll ever work for!’
