Audrey Rainsford, Carlton

Modern apartments in the heart of Carlton

The Victorian Government has chosen Wintringham to provide tenancy management and housing support services for 62 new social housing units.

Named after Wintringham legend Audrey Rainsford who has been a client in our city housing and is now living at Gilgunya, our residential aged care home in Coburg, the newly constructed 13-storey building is located on the doorstep to some of Melbourne's best dining precincts and beautiful green parks. The apartments feature a large modern kitchen with built-in appliances, spacious living rooms, bedroom and bathrooms.

“We're beyond excited for our expertise in supporting older vulnerable people to have been recognised by the Victorian State Government; and it is particularly pleasing to see that the whole building will be specifically allocated to older people who are experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness, especially women and clients from the Government’s H2H program, as well as people on the Victorian Housing register waitlist,” says Bryan.

“Being given this opportunity, is a reflection of the brilliant work Wintringham staff do every single day taking care of, supporting, advocating for and fighting for our clients, who have no-one else.”
