Atkins Terrace

A charming village.

Situated at 11 Devon St, Kensington Banks is a purpose built housing village that comprises 20 handsome, one-bedroom apartments and a common room set in landscaped gardens that are maintained by Wintringham.

Atkins Terrace

Living here you would have a bedroom and ensuite bathroom, a kitchen/lounge room and the use of free laundry facilities located in the common room. The common room also has a pool table and lounge area. The units create a village atmosphere with each apartment having a rear verandah leading out onto the garden area and a front door facing the street.

When the units were opened in 1999, it was decided that Robert Atkins would be honoured in their naming. Robert had been a long-term and much loved resident of Wintringham: he was a remarkable yarn-spinner and an incomparable singer of songs.
