Dazzling views over the Barwon River Valley

Belmont

In the 1920s, twelve Alexander Miller Memorial Homes were built at 7 Culbin Avenue, Belmont, Geelong. They consist of six buildings, each containing two semi-detached units of approx 50sqm. In partnership with the Victorian Government's Office of Housing Strategy for Growth, these units have been extensively renovated bringing them up to contemporary standards for aged care.

Each one-bedroom unit retains period features but also integrates environmentally sustainable design elements. Each unit also provides maximum natural ventilation and universal access allowing for internal and external wheelchair use.

Enjoying some of the best views in Geelong, the site overlooks the Barwon River and the Barwon Valley Park.
