Port Melbourne Hostel

Beautiful buildings and a sense of belonging.

Located at 79 Swallow St, Port Melbourne, this hostel offers affordable, high quality accommodation and care to 35 men and women aged 50 years and over.  

We provide a safe, flexible and caring family-style environment which allows you to maintain your chosen lifestyle, habits and activities and to be as independent as you choose to be.

Rules are kept to an absolute minimum and we respect the rights of residents to drink alcohol and smoke, provided they do not disturb other residents. We promote independence with everyday activities and offer a structured recreation program that caters to the individual wishes of each resident.

Accommodation

The beautiful buildings, set in landscaped surroundings, have won international acclaim. There are six houses shared between five to seven residents with each house having its own lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. 

Living here, you would have your own fully-furnished bungalow style room with a personal shower and toilet. All rooms face onto a private verandah, giving you extra space to enjoy.
