Wintringham’s 12th annual ArtSpace exhibition - and its sixth consecutive year online - once again turned screens into galleries during Homelessness Week (4–10 August).
This year’s showcase featured 181 vibrant and thought-provoking artworks created by clients from across Victoria and Tasmania. ArtSpace celebrates creativity, inclusion and self-expression, offering Wintringham clients the chance to have their work featured in the organisation’s annual calendar and festive card collection.

This year’s judging panel included Lyndy and Lucinda White from the Peter & Lyndy White Foundation, artist and long-time Wintringham volunteer Dot Lipmann AM, and Wintringham Board Member Jane Boag. Together they faced the tough task of narrowing down the entries - a challenge they met with passion and enthusiasm.
ArtSpace also invited the public to take part through the People’s Choice Awards, allowing viewers to vote for up to five of their favourite pieces.
Congratulations to our People's Choice winners:
-
First place: Shirley with ‘Sunset’ – $200 voucher
-
Runner-up: Thomas with ‘Me and My Brother in My MK11 Old Zephyr’ – $150 voucher
-
Randomly selected voter: Julie (who also exhibited ‘New Journeys on Old Paths’) – $150 voucher
Thank you to our generous sponsor, Melbourne Artists’ Supplies, for their ongoing support of the People’s Choice Awards and their contribution to nurturing creativity within our community.
