It is our great pleasure to announce that a book has been written on the history of Wintringham. Its author, Elaine Farrelly, undertook the project independently of us, for love not money; she had free reign to write whatever she liked. It turns out though that she likes us a lot! We feel honoured by the marvellous way she has woven our stories and pictures into a rollicking narrative.

We can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading. Instead of a dry history, Elaine has produced an absolute page-turner.

Details of where the book can be purchased are available on the author's website; click here The Wintringham Story by Elaine Farrelly.

Listen to this wonderful interview by Waleed Aly on Radio National Drive, where he discusses the book with Elaine Farrelly and Bryan Lipmann: RADIO NATIONAL
