Thinktank on Elderly Homelessness

The Commonwealth Minister for Aged Care, Ken Wyatt, recently held a thinktank on elderly homelessness, to which our CEO was invited.

The consultant who ran the session interviewed a number of Wintringham clients, residents and staff and showed the video at the thinktank. Watching this video, you will see why the video had such a powerful effect on all those present. Wintringham continues to work with elderly people whom mainstream aged care providers would rather ignore, yet we do so with less funding. Hopefully the gross inequality and unfairness of the current system will be addressed by the Minister through his thinktank and the resultant Diversity Action Plan that is to be drafted.
